We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resource Administrator who will be responsible for processing employee lifecycle changes including onboarding and offboarding within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical background, enabling them to effectively manage and improve these crucial HR functions.
Job Description
Employee Life Cycle & HR Operations
- Coordinate end-to-end onboarding logistics: New-hire paperwork, I-9/E-Verify, and system provisioning.
- Manage employee changes (promotions, transfers, manager changes, location updates) in HRIS; maintain accurate and confidential personnel files.
- Coordinate offboarding: exit logistics, asset recovery, systems access removal, final documentation, and file retention.
- Serve as the first-line point of contact for HR inquiries and route complex issues appropriately.
- Build and maintain HR SOPs and checklists; identify opportunities to streamline and automate routine tasks.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment requirements; maintain audit-ready records.
- Own recurring compliance tasks: I-9 audits, EEO data integrity, and ACA tracking.
- Prepare recurring and ad-hoc HR metrics.
Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Partner with Payroll to keep all pay-impacting data accurate and on time (new hires, terminations, pay changes, bonuses, stipends).
- Support benefits enrollment and qualifying life events; troubleshoot employee benefit questions and liaise with carriers/brokers.
Systems & Data Integrity
- Maintain HRIS data accuracy, permissions, and workflows; assist with imports/exports between HRIS, payroll, and finance systems.
- Safeguard sensitive information and ensure adherence to data retention and privacy standards.
Profile Description
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of progressive HR generalist/administrative experience supporting operations, compliance, benefits, and payroll coordination.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with HR analytics tools and software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively independently and remotely.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems. Advanced Excel skills, inclusive of lookups, pivots and formulas.
