Job Summary
We are looking for a strategic and growth-oriented GM – Digital Marketing & E-commerce to lead end-to-end digital strategy, online revenue growth, performance marketing, and e-commerce operations. This role will be responsible for driving customer acquisition, online sales, digital brand visibility, and seamless omni-channel integration.
Job Description
Digital Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute the overall digital marketing and e-commerce strategy aligned with business goals.
- Drive online revenue growth, customer acquisition, and retention.
- Lead and mentor digital marketing, performance, content, and e-commerce teams.
- Manage digital budgets and ensure optimal ROI.
Performance Marketing
- Oversee paid campaigns across Meta, Google, YouTube, Affiliates, and Marketplaces.
- Optimize campaigns based on ROAS, CAC, LTV, and conversion metrics.
- Drive data-led decision-making and continuous performance improvement.
E-commerce Management
- Own complete P&L for the e-commerce business.
- Manage website operations, user experience, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
- Ensure seamless checkout experience, payment integrations, and order fulfillment coordination.
- Work closely with supply chain and operations to maintain inventory health and product availability.
SEO, Content & Organic Growth
- Drive SEO strategy to improve organic traffic and search rankings.
- Oversee content marketing, email marketing, and lifecycle communication.
- Strengthen brand presence across digital platforms.
Marketplace & Omni-channel Integration
- Manage marketplace partnerships and performance.
- Align digital campaigns with offline retail initiatives to drive online-to-store conversions.
- Implement omni-channel strategies such as click-and-collect, hyperlocal targeting, etc.
MarTech & Analytics
- Oversee integration of CRM, automation tools, and analytics platforms.
- Ensure proper tracking, attribution modeling, and reporting dashboards.
- Use data insights to improve customer journey and personalization.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, performance marketing, and e-commerce operations.
- Proven experience managing large digital budgets and delivering high ROAS.
- Deep knowledge of SEO, SEM, CRO, analytics, and MarTech ecosystems.
- Strong leadership and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
- P&L ownership mindset with strong commercial acumen.
- Data-driven and ROI-focused decision-making capability.
Profile Description
- MBA / Postgraduate in Marketing (LIBA,BIM & Great Lakes).
- 7–10 years of experience in digital marketing and e-commerce.
- Minimum 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Experience in retail / D2C / consumer-facing brand preferred.
- Proven track record of scaling online revenue.
