Job Overview
We are seeking a highly technical, hands-on Senior AWS Cloud & AI Architect to lead our cloud infrastructure design, drive Generative AI adoption, and spearhead our technical interview panel. In this role, you will design resilient architecture across a broad landscape of over 40 AWS services, with a heavy focus on Amazon Bedrock for AI implementation. You will own the deployment of complex multi-platform application hosting (Windows auto-scaling and Amazon ECS containers) and must possess elite troubleshooting skills to resolve critical infrastructure and AI model pipeline bottlenecks
Key Responsibilities
1. Generative AI Architecture & Implementation
- AI Integration: Architect and deploy enterprise-grade Generative AI solutions using Amazon Bedrock, including model selection, prompt engineering orchestration, and API integrations.
- RAG & Agent Pipelines: Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) using Bedrock Knowledge Bases and automate workflows using Bedrock Agents.
- Security & Guardrails: Configure Bedrock Guardrails, model invocation logging, and data privacy controls to ensure secure, compliant AI usage.
2. Multi-Platform Application Hosting
- Windows Hosting: Design highly available, autoscaled environments for Windows-based applications using AWS EC2 Auto Scaling, AWS Systems Manager (SSM), and FSx for Windows.
- Containerization: Architect microservices leveraging Amazon ECS (Fargate and EC2 launch types), Amazon ECR, and service auto-scaling.
3. Advanced Troubleshooting & Operations
- Act as the highest escalation point for complex, cross-service infrastructure and AI workflow failures.
- Diagnose deep networking issues (VPC routing, PrivateLink for Bedrock, Transit Gateway, Route 53).
- Debug container deployment failures, Windows IIS crashes, IAM permission blocks, and Bedrock throttling or latency issues.
. Interviewing & Technical Assessment
- Lead the technical interview panel for cloud engineering, DevOps, and AI/ML candidates.
- Design rigorous, real-world technical assessments covering cloud architecture, troubleshooting, and Generative AI patterns.
Technical Domain Requirements
Your expertise must span across these key AWS domains, covering approximately 40+ services:
- Generative AI & ML (3): Amazon Bedrock (Knowledge Bases, Agents, Guardrails), SageMaker (for auxiliary pipelines), OpenSearch Service (Vector Engine).
- Compute & Containers (6): EC2, ECS, ECR, Fargate, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, EventBridge, Batch, AWS BedRock, Dynamo DB, Aurora and SQL RDS etc..
- Networking & Content Delivery (7): VPC, Route 53, CloudFront, ALB/NLB, Transit Gateway, API Gateway, PrivateLink.
- Storage & Databases (7): S3, EBS, EFS, FSx for Windows, RDS, DynamoDB, ElastiCache.
- Management & Governance (7): CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Systems Manager (SSM), AWS Config, Control Tower, Organizations, Auto Scaling.
- Security, Identity, & Compliance (6): IAM, Secrets Manager, KMS, WAF, Shield, GuardDuty.
- Developer Tools & CI/CD (5): Azure Devops, CloudFormation etc..
- Application Integration (4): SQS, SNS, EventBridge, Step Functions
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum 8+ years in cloud architecture, with at least 5 years dedicated heavily to AWS, and 1-2 years hands-on with Amazon Bedrock.
- AI Competency: Deep understanding of foundational models (Claude, Llama, etc.), context window management, and vector database embeddings. [1]
- Windows & Containers: Proven track record of configuring Windows Server auto-scaling and ECS task optimization.
- Troubleshooting: Exceptional ability to read logs (CloudWatch, Bedrock invocation logs), analyze network packets, and reverse-engineer failure points.
- Certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or Assiociate.
